Mom's day out and 4k program

The purpose of the weekday preschool ministry at FBC is to minister to the spiritual and social needs of preschool children and their families from Jackson, and surrounding communities, while providing a strong academic foundation. We are committed to providing biblically based, age-appropriate experiences to allow each child to develop mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally at his/her own level of ability while enjoying feelings of success. 

  • The Program

    Your child will participate in a variety of learning center activities which include art, books, blocks, puzzles and manipulatives, nature, music and dramatic play. Social skills are developed through sharing, taking turns, thinking, reasoning, and solving problems. Bible stories, thoughts and verses are included in each lesson. 


    First Baptist Weekday Ministry enrolls children ages 6 months to 5 years. Our 4k Program uses the program Learning Without Tears for handwriting, literacy and math. Activities for babies through 3 year olds are based on ABC Jesus Loves Me and the Wee Learn Curriculum. Children work individually and also in group settings.

    MDO is our program offered M-W-F for children 6 months-4 years. 4K is a 5-day program is offered for children age 4 by September 1st of the school year. Both programs operate from 8-12. Our school year  runs from August-May, Enrollment for the 2023-24 school year will begin April 3rd, 2023.

    A Registration fee of $75 for 4K or $50 for MDO must accompany each registration form. All registration fees are non-refundable after June 1, 2022. 


    Tuition for MDO is $15 a day and tuition for 4K is $185 a month. Tuition is due by the 1st class day of each month. Children in the MDO program are responsible for payment of all days in the month, whether or not the child attends.
