• Dr. Ben Stubblefield

    Senior pastor

    Ben grew up 70 miles south of Jackson in Mobile. A graduate of Auburn and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, he pastored in New Washington, Indiana for 5 years until the Lord called him and his family to FBCJackson in 2013.

    He has been married to his beautiful wife Carrie for 11 years, and he has 3 amazing daughters (ages 8, 6, and 4). Ben's passion is to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

    His hobbies include family time, reading, and anything outdoors. Get him to the woods, on the water, or in the wild, and he's a happy camper!

    Something that may surprise people to learn about you: "I  once had a job as a mascot for a AA baseball team. It was super-hot during the summer, and hilarious."

  • Rev. Brian Jemison

    Minister of music & senior adults

    This year, Brian will celebrate 20 years of ministry at First Baptist Jackson. He has been married to Tammy for 33 years. They enjoy having their daughter Amanda and her husband James and their son Andrew nearby. Although as grandparents, they especially enjoy having their two grandchildren nearby.

    Brian has a gifting and a passion to serve the Lord and our community in many different ways. He leads all ages in experiencing God through worship, faithfully serves our older church members, and always has a smile and encouraging word for anyone who needs it. Whether here in the local community or on an international mission trip, Brian faithfully shares the love and message of Christ with all around him. He enjoys traveling, reading, 

    Brian is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Musical Arts degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. One of his favorite passages is Jeremiah 29:11

  • Robbin syphrit


    Robbin has been part of our staff since 2017. She keeps things running in our office and is able to answer most any question. Robbin is married to Allen Syphrit since June 24, 2013. Their oldest Bob is married to Carla and they have 3 children; their daughter Maggie and husband Jesse recently welcomed their first child. Robbin fits her role as a grandmother perfectly with her kind and nurturing spirit. All those around her see the light of the Lord shining bright! 

  • Rannie davis


    Rannie began working at FBC in 2001 and has been trying to keep everyone straight ever since. She raised three children and now enjoys time with her seven grandchildren. Rannie knows everyone and has a knack for making each person feel special. She loves her job, but mostly she loves caring for people.
