• Nicaragua

Since 2001, FBC Jackson has been heavily involved in an outreach to Nicaragua through large medical and evangelism teams and smaller specialized teams. The work FBC Jackson has been a part of in Nicaragua, alongside BMDMI (Baptist Medical & Dental Mission International), has been the primary catalyst for planting three evangelical churches: La Fundadora, New Jerusalem, and El Penuelar. Currently due to Covid, we are not able to travel to Nicaragua, but continue to support and encourage our Nicaraguan brothers and sisters as they are able to minister in many ways. We hope to resume our trips in 2022. If you are interested in learning more about our partnership with BMDMI, how we serve in Nicaragua, or in joining one of our teams, please contact Norman Stevens or Nick Waugh.

"Go and make disciples."

" And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, 'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen." Matthew 28:18-20

International Mission Board

The IMB exists to serve Southern Baptists in carrying out the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations. We want to see a multitude from every language, people, tribe and nation knowing and worshiping our Lord Jesus Christ. Currently, their are about 3,600 hundred missionaries serving with the IMB among 1,200 people groups and urban centers. The focus of the IMB is on parts of the world that have been untouched or have very little access to the truth of the Gospel. Pray for these faithful men and women who serve around the world. FBC Jackson supports the IMB through our annual Lottie Moon Christmas offering and ongoing support of this Southern Baptist Cooperative Program.

Missionaries

FBC Jackson is engaged with ministries around the world through relationships with missionaries serving in Montana, Mississippi, Louisiana, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. We often have missionaries share in our services or send us updates from the field to share with our congregation. If you would like to be connected with any of these missionaries, please contact our office.

Operation christmas child

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to provide God's love in a tangible way to children in need around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has shared 178 mission shoeboxes with children around the world. This year, we are collecting items for boxes year-round. If you would like an idea of what items you can be collecting and how to plan your year round boxes, check out this list. When you are ready, you can print your own labels here or visit OCC for labels that let you track your box!
