EVERY CHRISTIAN NEEDS TO JOIN A CHURCH.

We believe that one of God’s primary means for growing up healthy Christians is through engagement with a local body of believers. We call this church membership. Church membership is a wonderful privilege and a weighty responsibility. 

To communicate fully the privilege and responsibility of membership at FBC we ask prospective new members to go through a three step membership process.

Membership Process

Here's our three step process!

  • Our Next Steps Class is offered on Sunday mornings directly after our main service.

    The class is broken up into 4 main categories:

    • Part 1: What is FBC Jackson?
    • Part 2: Distinctives of Our Faith
    • Part 3: Membership Responsibilities
    • Part 4: The Ministries of our Church

  • This is an opportunity for one of the pastors to get to know you better, hear about your conversion, and walk with Christ, as well as to answer any questions you may have about FBC Jackson.

  • New Member candidates will be presented to the congregation on a Sunday morning at the end of our main service, at which time the congregation will be asked to officially vote to approve the New Member candidates as members of FBC Jackson.
