Our purpose in Rooted Women’s Ministry is to reach out to women in our community of all ages and encourage them to join with us in Bible study, prayer and simple fun and fellowship.  Paul encouraged women in Titus 2 to teach, nurture and help each other become mature Christians.  We provide women with opportunities to get together as sisters in the Lord – where loving Jesus is our common bond.  Outreach is the natural action for spiritually grounded women who are sure of who they are in Christ and have the love of the Lord flowing through them.  Our ministry is part of the total ministry of First Baptist Jackson and helps all of us to pull together and better reflect the image of God.
